Lee Yi Kyung’s Character On “Go Go Waikiki” Is Greatness

‘Cuz he’s the best Struggling Actor Ever.

Lee Yi Kyung’s Lee Joon Ki is the most entertaining character on kdrama right now. He’s had the most fun, this-isn’t-what-it-looks-like scenes – due in no small part (heh) to his character’s role as a struggling thesp; he’s my favorite character on Go Go Waikiki.

Lee Joon Ki is awesomeness. His misadventures lead him to humiliating moments with actor Park Sung Woong (nice cameo in ep1), being stuck in full Wolverine make-up, and getting himself waxed for a role.

Ah, the dedication. (He even took off his shirt that time.)

Cue overdramatic music as the embarrassment burns, hot and heavy like spilt ramen.

And he looks so cute and cuddly in that one sweater, too. (Let that shade be forever known as Boyfriend Sweater blue.)
