You’re welcome, y’all.

And then there’s Kim Min Jae and Yoon Si Yoon’s Guerrilla Date:

Catching a glimpse of Yoon Si Yoon’s post-military photo was a pleasant surprise.

Variety Treat!: Jackson & Joon Hyung Go To Korean School

I can’t remember the last time I laughed this hard.

This week’s variety treat highlights a clip from 2016, part of an episode of “A Look At Myself” which I’ve seen before but stumbled across again recently.

Thank you, Jackson & Joon Hyung, my face hurts from laughing. You’re welcome, fellow variety lovers.

They’re two peas in a pod. Why don’t they have their own series as a standalone already?

Jackson & Joon Hyung Go To Korean School

Watch 2PM’s Wooyoung teach at JYP’s offices, amidst growing exasperation, as Jackson Wang (GOT7) and Joon (g.o.d.) show what knowledge they’ve acquired about the Korean language as expat artists.

Damn, Jackson & Joon Hyung. I want to go to Korean school with you guys.

Variety Treats: Hwarang Cast Jumps Rope (Shirtless), BIGBANG Dances Super Fast, And CNBLUE’s Minhyuk Is Your Impromptu Actor

And we take a break from our kdrama highlights for a field trip to other adventures.

In this very first edition of Variety Treats, Hwarang cast members jump rope (of the shirtless variety, heh), BIGBANG dances twice as fast, and CNBLUE’s Minhyuk gets kidnapped for an impromptu short film shoot.

Hwarang Cast Jumps Rope on 2 Days 1 Night

The Flowering Knights themselves, Hwarang cast members Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, and Minho joined as guests on 2 Days 1 Night. Yes, there was jumping rope. And it was someone’s brilliant idea to have them strip while doing so. See for yo’self.

BIGBANG Guests On Weekly Idol

And the reigning kings of kpop were guests on the cult show Weekly Idol for the first time. What did they do, among things?

Dance to ‘Bang Bang Bang’ twice as fast, of course. The results was pure awesomeness.

Minhyuk Does On-The-Spot Acting on Sister’s Slam Dunk

What is this show, Sister’s Slam Dunk, exactly? I will have to look into this. We’ve got Ra Mi Ran and Jessi among the co-hosts. (I know: in what universe would we expect Ra Mi Ran and Jessi to be in the same sentence, let alone the same show?)

Anyhow, the ladies literally yank CNBLUE’s Minhyuk from his dressing room at Music Bank to do them a favor: act in their short film, which will be part of the Asiana International Short Film Festival. (Though not after trying to snag one of the boys of BTS.)

Minhyuk’s of the musician-turned-actor persuasion, you might remember him from Entertainer or Heirs, if not from band CNBLUE.

What role does he play? A bank fund manager. Hehh. Try not to fall in love with the guy, as the ladies do.
